What I liked

• Atmosphere: Energetic, clean, and well-maintained. Bays are spacious with comfortable seating and great views of the range—good for groups and families.

• Entertainment value: Games are fun and intuitive for all ages and skill levels. My family (kids and adults) stayed engaged the whole time.

• Food & drink quality: Menu items and cocktails were solid — everything we ordered via the app arrived fresh and tasted good.

• Convenience: The mobile ordering app works very well. We relied on it for nearly all of our orders and it was fast and reliable.

What didn’t work

• Service: Our server was consistently inattentive and slow. We had to wait for assistance multiple times and often brought items to the bay ourselves. That detracted from the overall experience.

• Inconsistent staffing: It felt like the staff was stretched thin during our visit, which is likely why the app became our primary ordering method.

Bottom line: Topgolf Virginia Beach is an excellent choice for family outings and group fun. The venue, games, and food quality make it worth a visit. However, the in-person service during our visit was poor. Be prepared to use the mobile app for quicker ordering. With reliable mobile service and great entertainment, I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
