Bill’s Bar and Burger — Review

Overall impression Bill’s Bar and Burger is an okay choice for a pre- or post-show meal near Radio City Music Hall. It’s not exceptional, but it delivers solid food in a convenient location.

Location The restaurant scores high for location. It’s just a short walk from Radio City Music Hall and other Midtown theaters, making it a practical spot for theatergoers or anyone needing a quick bite in the area.

Food The food is good. Burgers are well-seasoned and cooked to order, and the sides (fries, onion rings) are satisfying. Nothing here is groundbreaking, but you get reliably prepared, classic bar-and-burger fare. Portions are generous enough for a full meal.

Service Service wasn’t great. Staff were polite enough but inattentive at times — slow to check in, delayed refills, and longer waits for the check. It wasn’t rude or dysfunctional, just inconsistent and less polished than you might expect downtown.

Atmosphere and value The atmosphere matches what you’d expect from a Midtown bar-restaurant: casual, loud when busy, and functional. Prices are reasonable for the neighborhood; you’re mostly paying for convenience and proximity to entertainment venues.

Bottom line Bill’s Bar and Burger is a decent, convenient option near Radio City Music Hall with reliably good food. If service quality is a priority, manage expectations — it’s passable but not standout. Recommended if you need a nearby meal before or after a show and want familiar, satisfying food.
